I've spent twenty years building my career one role at a time, carrying something valuable forward from each step along the way. I started as a Graphic Designer, and over two decades I advanced through Art Director and Creative Director, always staying close to the work itself.

 

That path matters to me. Because I've done the work myself, hands on a mouse, deadline on the wall, I bring a designer's instinct to everything I lead. Along the way I've built extensive experience in business startups, branding, website design and development, marketing campaigns, and print and online media, with a particular depth of experience working with healthcare, dental, and aesthetic practices. I know what makes a concept land, and I care about craft at every stage of a project.

 

My path into design wasn't a straight line from a single place. I spent my formative years in Kenya, and that international upbringing shaped how I see visual language. I've never approached design from just one cultural lens, and that range has become one of my greatest strengths as a creative. I also bring that perspective into the classroom as an instructor at Phoenix College, where I teach graphic design to the next generation.
